Hawkes Sports was founded at the start of 2012 by Nathan Hawkes. The purpose of the company was to give cricket clubs an easy route to securing a quality overseas player to suit their standard of play and also to give young players around the globe the chance to travel to new countries and experience cricket in different cultures. On top of this Hawkes sports offers coaching for all age groups and player levels.

The unique thing about Hawkes Sports is that Nathan himself has actually been one of those young cricketers and has a lot of invaluable experience traveling to countries such as New Zealand, Australia and South Africa to play full and successful seasons at a high standard. This experience has taught Nathan the lessons of a traveling young cricketer trying to boost his chances of a professional career.

At Hawkes Sports, we have previously seen an overseas player transform not only the attitude of the youth and adult sections of a club but also the on field performance and an increase in social atmosphere, taking it above and beyond it's ambitions. Further more this effect doesn't end when the season is out. It continues for seasons to come.

A Little About Nathan

As mentioned above Nathan has played seasons in New Zealand, South Africa and Australia but that isn't where it all started. He began playing cricket at a high standrad from a young age, representing Northamptonshire under 10's right through the system up into the academy and then on to play 2nd XI cricket. Nathan has had 6 years of coaching experience, mainly working with the northamptonshire youth setup, developing the future of English cricket. Nathan was the highest run scorer for Northants 2nd XI in 2009 and again for Leicestshire 2nd XI in 2010. He has an extremely strong love and passion for the game which shows in his coaching.

Nathan also likes to branch out to other sports such as football, where he represented Luton Town and Northampton Town at age group level, and Golf in which he is still a keen single figured handicap player.
